Professional Experience

Attorney David Kervin formed Herrin Kervin because he recognized the need for passionate and caring personal injury lawyers in Louisiana.

Mr. Kervin has already successfully assisted clients in obtaining over $12 million in compensation.

Mr. Kervin’s primary legal focus is personal injury, wrongful death, class actions, and business disputes. Mr. Kervin’s prior experience representing insurance companies gives him valuable insight into how “the other side” operates in personal injury claims.

Growing up in a small Louisiana town, Mr. Kervin’s background and experience enables him to relate to both regular folks and companies alike. This unique combination creates a formidable legal ally for clients who seek personalized attention and comprehensive legal experience. David Kervin, Jr. is committed to helping those who need it most.

Before forming Herrin Kervin, Mr. Kervin worked as a financial advisor at one of the world’s largest investment houses, UBS.  While at UBS, David Kervin held the Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses.

David Kervin has also assisted hundreds of people in reorganizing their debts through creditor negotiation and litigation and bankruptcy matters.  David has been interviewed by New Orleans City Business and the Associated Press regarding the wave of foreclosure filings after the economic recession and has been quoted in the Times Picayune, Seattle Times, Business Insider and Yahoo News regarding bankruptcies and foreclosures. David has also appeared as a guest on Will Gandy’s “REAL Talk,” a radio show that airs every Saturday morning on 99.5 FM.

Mr. Kervin is licensed to practice in Louisiana, Texas, and Washington, D.C.  He is also licensed to practice in the Eastern, Middle and Western Federal Court Districts of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
